A new broken Borderlands 4 Rafa build has made it so that players don’t need to fire their weapons at all to destroy their enemies. Instead, players can let the Peacekeeper Cannons do all the work in this overpowered Borderlands 4 Rafa build.
Because Borderlands 4 features so many unique weapon effects, it was only a matter of time before clever theorycrafters discovered the best ones to merge with the game’s many abilities to create overpowered builds. One Borderlands 4 player even discovered an infinite damage build just a few days after the game’s release. There’s an argument to be made that using truly broken builds takes the fun out of the game, but realistically, it’s a single-player and co-op game, so it doesn’t hurt anyone who wants to play how they’d like.
Broken Borderlands 4 Rafa Build Makes Peacekeeper Cannons Unbeatable
First spotted by TheGamer, YouTuber Moxsy has discovered a broken Borderlands 4 Rafa build that abuses the power of the Peacebreaker Cannons to decimate groups of enemies swiftly. It uses the overpowered ricochet damage to bounce projectiles from one enemy to the next, abusing the fact that new projectiles are created for every element on the weapon. They take a bunch of skills from the Remote Agent tree to trigger as many elements as possible when their Peacebreaker Cannons fire.
It also takes advantage of the fact that Borderlands 4‘s Peacebreaker Cannons take on the element of the weapon they’re holding. In this instance, Moxsy uses a beam tosser shotgun from Maliwan, which features dual elements. Any enhancement to the Mixologist passive will trigger both elements simultaneously, causing even more projectiles to ricochet repeatedly.
The end result is almost silly. When triggering their Peacebreaker Cannons, Moxsy simply has to stand in front of their enemies, and the ricochet damage does all the work. They don’t have to fire a single bullet, and the stacking, ricocheting elemental damage melts enemies before they really get a chance to fight back.
It’s still early days for Borderlands 4, and the overpowered builds that players have found so far may just be the tip of the iceberg. It’s worth remembering that with Borderlands 4‘s post-launch content, it’s possible that even more broken builds will be inadvertently added to the game, too.
