Grady Diangana last played for West Brom in mid-December, so the Baggies have done remarkably well to maintain their form and league position without one of their best players available.
The outpour of happiness amongst fans to the news that the winger could be back soon also demonstrates how brilliant he has been, as Diangana was able to make himself a fan favourite within a few short months at the Hawthorns.
The West Ham loanee was confirmed by the club to be back in full training which means his return to the pitch could be imminent, though Slaven Bilic will likely take his time bedding the player back in, so as to prevent further injury.
That would be wise given the Hawthorns outfit have coped well without him and have other good options to choose from, and with nine games left there is plenty of time for Diangana to have an impact, as alluded to below.
Bilic is blessed with a number of attacking options in the wide areas. Matheus Pereira has been one of the best players in the division with 18 goal contributions while Callum Robinson has settled in reasonably well with two goals in eight games and an average WhoScored rating of 7.2.
He doesn’t compare to Diangana, however, who has five goals and five assists in just 17 league starts for West Brom, proving that he is capable of providing the quality to win matches single-handedly.

It is little surprise that his return has been met with excitement, as if he returns to the standard he was playing at before then he could prove decisive in winning promotion.
